In case you needed more evidence of the nose on your face:
The chairman of the Consumer Product Safety Commission, is actually campaigning to kill legislation that would increase the agency's authority, double its budget and increase its staff.
That's right: more money, more power and more employees to the agency which polices consumer goods sold to us, and the boss of the agency says "No thanks."
