quite a sad story
this guy flew in from Poland, immigrating to BC, spoke no english, and somehow was lost in the airport for ten hours, finally became agitated, started throwing stuff around, the cops come, taser him and he dies.

I don't know if most airports have translators on hand, but it seems something could have been done better here. Maybe even if they had telephone translators on call. The police are being looked at for how they handled the thing, the B word (that'd be brutality) has reared it's head.
On the right there is a link to a video some guy made, which has been quite the issue too- because he handed it over to the police initially and it has been a struggle to get it made public, from what I understand.

I saw that on CNN this mornng, only half watching like I do. I didn't realize it was in BC. They interviewed a woman, maybe she's on the video you've linked I haven't watched it yet. She tried to talk to him in a few different languages to no avail. She did say that she never felt threatned by him.

A very sad, but true statement Duke. And unfortunately, I think we're a bit further along than "beginning to."
