I know there are some Simposons fans out there. Who's your favorite character and favorite episode? Here's my hint for mine, check out my avatar. Anyone know? Winner gets a sponge bath from Oprah.

I can't pick a favorite character/episode. But, I'm pretty sure
your avatar's name is Hank Scorpio. I'll forgo the prize
though--"I was myself with a rag on a stick."

Ha... Good call... You can't go wrong with Simpsons, but I'd have to say the best character is Troy McClure, played by the late, great phil hartman. you might remember him from such educational films as "Lead Paint: Delicious But Deadly," and "Here Comes the Metric System."
Best episode? Being a music nut, I'll have to say the 200th episode special with U2 as the guests. Homer Becomes sanitation commisioner for springfield and you know, stuff happens. But the one with The Who was also a classic, where Homer starts a revolution to split springfield into two cities, separated by a wall of trash (all because they added a new area code).
HOMER: "My dream has been shattered into shards of a broken dream. I was so close to being a Rock Star, but now there's a chance it might not happen. I'll just have to settle for being a fat, bald, fat nothing"

i think you forgot about Mr. Burns- he did die once, but was brought back to life while doing the gig as a puppet.
