These two shows will be available shortly on The Live Music Archive. Once approved you can start downloading. Both are very good recordings and excellent setlists with lots of need songs.

If you haven't visited the Archive lately you will see some changes. Some shows will now be available in lossy formats (mp3, ogg, etc.) if allowed by the taper. You will also see that each show now includes a metadata file which allows you to download individual tracks by song title. Metadata will also allow your MP3 player to recognize each track by the name of the song instead of the file name. The folks at the Archive have been working very hard to simplify the process and I think these new changes really show that.

Has anyone downloaded these yet? If so, post a review on the Archive show page so that others know what they are getting. I'm sure some people will enjoy the new MP3 feature, personally I avoid them. But the whole show is only 80mb, should make the bandwidth challenged folks happy. I'm interested to hear about the quality of the MP3's.

The easiest way to share photos is to upload to an online photo album and provide a link here. Something like www.photobucket.com works well. As far as the Janus Landing show, if it was taped I'm sure it'll come around.

I cant seem to open the .shn files from Boston. How do I get them to mp3 ao I can burn it?

.SHN need to be decompressed to .wav so that you can burn them. There are MP3s for the Boston Show on the Archive. Click the link to the left of the show "Help With Downloads" or follow this link http://www.archive.org/about/faqs.php#Audio and that should help you out.
