Myanmar did not accept aid from the U.S. for fear that we would overthrow the govt. and seize its oil. You can read about it here (http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5iy-MfhLN9Q7MwtQ1VlrvexLjr2dAD90Q0EQ80). It's nice to be reminded of what others think of the U.S.

At least 78,000 people were killed in the storm and 56,000 remain missing. European Union nations have warned that Myanmar's junta could be committing a crime against humanity by blocking aid intended for hundreds of thousands of survivors. Myanmar, one of the world's poorest nations, claims losses from the disaster exceeded $10 billion.
Could be? Could be?
Funny how they have no doubt that we are ot to get oil, and people here still don't get it.
