Mmmmmmkay - here's a rant.

Bottled water. I buy it and drink it.
Fishies. I can eat my weight in raw fish.

Apparently, every time I belly up to the sushi bar, I'm telling the suppliers to please, please keep overfishing my oceans.

It has recently been quoted by a musical/personal inspiration "bottled water is practically arrogant". I had never looked at it that way before. Arrogant? Brilliant.

I'm on a new path to responsibility and I'm taking my family with me. I recycle and my city, luckily, accepts glass - many don't. I could, however, be an AVID recycler. I use a clothesline all summer. I dream of composting. I really, truly want a scooter (anyone have one?), even though when I was in high school, I would rather have died.

I am nearly devastated by the demise of the road trip. Nothing better to this girl than the open road on a sunny day. My favorite music and a pack of smokes.

Distraction! I'll purposefully pollute myself, but not my Earth - What the Hell?

My willingness to file these things into memory surprises me.

Whatchoo got?

P.S. I'm not much of link clicker - so write.

I'll send you a present if you can tell me who is the source of inspiration.

Okay? Go.

See stricken- and now I know I love you too.
All we can do is try. You're trying and I'm proud of you.
Keep your ears & eyes & heart open and go with it.

Is your source of inspiration Gandhi because he said "be the change you want to see in the world" ?

Not a scooter, but, I got a bicycle on the weekend ($149), mine has the sweet ass addition though, of a basket on the front. Not just a regular basket though, this one is a metal frame and then inside that goes a wicker basket with handles, that you can take out to shop or picnic, or whatever.

It's beautiful, Sway! We are a Schwinn family. Mine's kind of clunker. Makes noises. I ride it anyway.

They take glass here as well. They do want everything sorted out, which is the least I can do.

If I could figure out how to get 3 car seats on a scooter, I'd do it in a second! We walk everywhere we can. We are lucky that the library, school and all that downtown has to offer shopping, cafes, restyhaunts or rescuehaunts (take your pick, that's what my gals call 'em)are just blocks away. I love my bike, although it's not nearly as sweet as your new one sway!

We don't do bottled water, we get it filtered through the fridge.

Not sure whom your inspiration is, but I'd sure like to know.

I like the idea of a clothesline, and i do have a rather large pile of yard waste that is in dire need of turning!
