kathy's in initial remission!
we all know that she might relapse, but as soon as one other infection clears up she'll be able to go home!

My mom-in-law has been doing well too. Don't know how, but she is still kicking.

as i mentioned to you earlier, my student is also now in remission. she came to the 8th grade graduation dance last night with her new wig, after not seeing her classmates for the last few months and is being so brave. i am so proud of her

Super news guys!! Just what I need to hear, as I just found out today my dad has been diagnosed with prostate cancer.

i am so sorry, shark. i do not know the severity or stage of your father's, but both my dad and step dad came through theirs and are now very healthy survivors.
he's on the prayer list. :)

Thanks guys! Rags I'm not sure what stage they've caught it in. My dad would rather talk about the Cubs than well anything else. I'll have to call his wife tonight and get more details. I hope they've caught it early, like your father and step father, recovery, so I've read, is near 100%.
