Hey Guys!

Are any of you fans of the band Slightly Stoopid?

I think other G. Love fans would totally be into them. They have an awesome sound and a great new record out now called "Slightly Not Stoned Enough to Eat Breakfast Yet Stoopid." They were signed by Sublime years ago. They're gonna be kicking off a tour to support the new record on August 1st. It's called the "Tailgate Tour 2008", which will be a blast! Tailgating and music are my favorite things ever. I'd love to blast some G. Love tunes in the parking lot and drink some beers with other fans.

Check out their music and tourdates on their myspace:

Lemme know what you think! and also what bands do you like to listen to when high?

Duh.

I adore Stoopid. Watched the DVD last week while making out with my Fisher Towers (for the last time). Drunk girlfriend confessed next day that she could barely stand it. Does.not.like.

new album out today, but not on canada itunes yet.

Slightly Not Stoned Enough To Eat Breakfast Yet Stoopid. This 21 song full length album consists of all 7 songs from the fan favorite EP (originally given away with the first 5,000 copies of Closer To The Sun) including "I Would Do For You" and "Train", among others. This album also includes other outtakes from Closer to The Sun and Chronchitis, as well as some brand new studio tracks "No Cocaine", "Fruits", and "Circle House Blues", which we recorded in between tours down in Miami at Circle House Studios. If you want to hear a preview of 5 songs from the new record, check out our Stoopid Space

have any of you listened to miles and kyle's bluegrass stuff? its not bad, I actually prefer it over the stoopid sound.
I don't have any plans of seeing them on this tour. Altough I do have a lot of respect for sly and robbie, that style of music gets a little redundant for me.
I probably won't ever go to another stoopid show in my life unless they are on tour with glass. i had bad experiences with their immature fans last summer and i think their road crew needs to take an etiquette class, or four and not be so damn judgemental and shallow. I only like two of the band members De la and OG, but only on a personal level. however, De La has a new band with RyMo and I really like that sound. the side project is called Delsoniq and its a jazzy funk sound and Jimi Jazz sits in with them on occasion. check that out, yo.

I will check it out! I know not of the bluegrass? Pray tell. Immature, fer sure. Granted, I was front-row, center, but OMG. Kicked in the head - girl next to me trying to unlatch my bracelet. Irritating. Same spot and not the same for GLaSS OR Ozomatli during the same show. One month later, Stoopid, came to Spokane. I watched the show from the balcony. It looked like the floor was boiling. Everyone was singing/dancing. They brought it and so did we. Totally fun show. For that experience alone, I will ALWAYS go see them. I really like them all - C-Money, too (especially). Not at all on a personal level.

I saw GLaSS play with Slightly Stoopid when I was in OC last year. . .I have since become a huge Slightly Stoopid fan. On their new album I canot get enough of the London Dub. . .good $h!t. I hope SS and GLaSS play again in the future. The new hippie generation has the sound.
