I have noticed from some of the pictures floatin around here that there always seems to be a buddha like statue on jimi's stacks. G always seems to use the same old rickety chair. Anyone know the story of these two items and why there always present. My first guess is that jimi looks similar to the buddha, but couldnt Garrett find a more comfortable chair to sit his ass down in. Anyone ?

Wow! I was thinking the same thing after the recentBoston show. I took a closer look after the show when the crew was packing stuff up. The chair looks like it's from third grade :). The cushion is ripped. But it has a bunch of writing on it. Possibly from him or the band or close friends. Seemed very sentimental and not totally out of place next to Jimi's Persian rug and the buddha.

I have no idea on the buddha but the resemblance to Jimi is uncanny.

My backside hurts because I keep kicking myself for not bringing my digital camera.

On a similar note, before the show there was a tall skinny guy with curly hair running around doing different stuff. He did not seem like a regular member of the crew. Who is he? Sounds like a cool job. I'm just curious; I bet he has a lot of great stories to tell.
