Love this man (and his mouth). Also a fan of documentaries. Here's a great one documenting last year's tour through Europe. The Paramount Theater in Seattle sold out and the show is two months away.
I won't stalk the Opera House when he visits Spokane in November, but it will be a focused effort not to.

You know, I've never ever been a fan of Jason Mraz, I could just never get into his music like at all. But I will say that this new album "We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things" might have some potential to be good, and I do like the song "I'm Yours" like a lot.

As much as I adore him now, I must say it took time. WSWDWST is a great (and long-awaited) album. He should have "Dynamo of Volition" on his MySpace - try that one. I find myself going back to the old. Try "Live at Java Joes" - if you can find it. If not, let me know. "Did I Fool Ya" is my life in scat. "Tonight...Not Again" should keep you singing for months. I'd say skip the download and get the physical as it is a CD/DVD combo. If your not a fan after watching the DVD, welp, not much else to say. My girlfriend, although a fan, couldn't even listen to him at all when she was pregnant - made her nauseated. Go figure. Popped the baby out and she was in love again.
Environmentalist. Activist. Good-deed-doer. Lyrical tap-dancer. microphone commander.
The whole package.

Jason Mraz rocked my world. That kid is the real deal. He deserves everything that's coming to him right now. I wonder how many people have purchased tickets to his show because they like "I'm Yours" and had no idea what they were walking into.

That's a killer pic! How cool is that?! Love the Optimist shirt btw.
The Mraz show sold out here. I had no idea. He's played the Ryman before and it was never close but now he's all blowed up and good for him. I've viewd that doc of the euro trip a few more times. It is really really good. So nice to see someone who seems to "get it" hit super star level.

Hi A~!
I signed up for street team duties through his record label. Part of my job was to introduce myself to the building staff and gain entry to the venue to distribute my wares. The Opera House in Spokane is staffed by the elderly. Seriously, old women. Lady comes to the door..."I don't know what you are talking about". Mmmkay. A man comes to the door - repeat self. "I don't know what you are talking about, but I think there is a label rep here tonight". That will help, I say. Takes us for a walk around the back of the Opera House, past the tour bus, in the back door, down the hallway and straight into Jason Mraz. It was only about 5 p.m., so he didn't have much going on. Time to chat, sign my vinyl (gah!) and the photo op. Kinda been high ever since. We have a regular relationship now, me and J. He knows my name and everything. Goober.

Sounds like you are well on your way lady! . . . Did you figure out to get a paycheck out of that yet? Tink and I will SO sign up.:D We already picked out our tour van and everything! (There's even room for a couple more;))
I think I am street teaming for ALO's two-nite run at the Fillmore over New Year's. Remind me not to ask any silly questions, ok Sway?
