this is like the kind of threads where you say what you are listening to at the very present moment,
except the visual component is required for entry to this roster.
I wanna see it.
preferably too, this is a good Song Show, not a LameAss Lalalala show.

Cool thread idea, Sway, only the Gorillaz vid link is actually Ohmega Watts - Platypus Strut
Also, I reject the idea that a "lalalala" song would necessarily be lame. Tink, can you back me up here!?!

oh oh. I'll fix it.
and I wasn't implying that all lalalala songs are lame, I was suggesting that we not include lalalala songs which are LameAss.

Guilty as charged!
Well it ought to be Distraction #74 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hL-WSaaAuk8) (complete with the oops-my-string-just-busted guitar change-out)...considering I'm in mega-procrastination mode.
But I've been on a blues kick lately. Something you've really gotta be in the mood for, I think.
Anyways, here's my entry for the day...
You Ain't Too Old (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0lGgtTxLo2Q) as long as you can boogie)
Not sure what's up with the fog machine but I like the big fat man on the bass. And I'm really diggin' Kid Andersen (http://cdbaby.com/cd/kidandersen1)'s guitar stylings...He's toured with Charlie Musselwhite for a good while, but is now with Rick Estrin and the Nightcats. The Kid's from Norway but has called San Fran home for some time. Lots of good blues shows near in the Bay area.
I couldn't find a good vid of it, but I really like his song Hangover Day...which you can hear on Kid Andersen (http://www.myspace.com/kidandersen)'s MySpace.

I love the intense simplicity of this one...and the facial expressions.

that is a beautiful video indeed. the first verse is still one of the most intense verses ever for me. i found myself tearing up several times during that.

Hahaha, you're a girl! http://www.smileyhut.com/sad/cry2.gif
I didn't get tears, but the end of that first verse does make my heart swell just a bit (albeit not for anyone particular like you, my dear) Emotionalism, indeed.
