tomorrow night is when i go to see pinetop, and i'm really stoked! i was driving around and this song came on the radio and i was just tapping my foot and clapping my hands. now i've never heard any pinetop that i'm aware of, but this song had such great energy to it that for some reason my intuition was saying "please let this be pinetop perkins!!" sure enough, the dj comes on after the song and says "that was a little bit of pinetop perkins for you." AWWWWWWW, YEAH!! i can't wait! definitely going to see one of the legends and hear some GREAT freaking music! i'll be the buzzed girl, flying solo, just getting her groove on!!:p

I recently discovered KPIG (http://www.kpig.com) that's based in Freedom, CA, not far from me...but it's available to stream worldwide. Very good stuff!

shark, i'm trying to link up to wmnf's website but it's slow to load. the website is wmnf.org and i believe you can actually download the shows/songs they broadcast. the song was Mississippi....something or other! you can also listen on your computer if you wish!!

oh my god....the show was awesome!!! took lots of pics and vids, will be more detailed tomorrow!! all i can say and kept saying was "he's just precious!!" unreal the man is 95 and still plays as well as he did. came out in a red pimp suit w/ matching red fedora w/turqoise colored feather and socks that were the keys of a piano!! PRECIOUS!!!!:D
