I saw her last night at the Calvin show. She has a great voice and a quirky personality. She kept saying "rad" which really pissed me off. Some of her songs sound the same but her lyrics keep you interested.


She has sex appeal but she doesn't let it interfear with her music too much.


Her last song was very nice. "Melt" or "Melting" or something.

I saw Tristan at the Anaheim show tonight. She was the best part of the show. It was great to hear her sing more than one song. She's so cool. Anyway, Garrett really dissapointed me. Just back from the radio show...It was out on this huge lakeside restaurantin MN. She only performed two songs, please and love, love, love. I really thought she wouldplay moreeven if not all the songs were on air.Tristan of course hung around after, she gaveme a promo copy of twentythree... I saw the dj giving them out to this little girl and I was thinking about going to steal it from her, thankfully tristan didn't make me stoop to that level! I listened to it all the way home and loved it!!! Garrett did make a little appearance on the last song of the cd called simple as it should be. He plays at least a little harmonica, if not some guitar parts as well. I can't wait to get the real thing... but the 10 out ot 11 songs will def. tide me over until Aug. 2nd!!!

bought the cd today, I work at a music store. I can't even play it on my iPod. It's got some stupid copy protection shit on it. You can burn three copies, and that's it, and convert the songs to wma's on your computer. Other than that, you're stuck with just the cd. I bought the cd, I should be able to do whatever the f&amp;&amp;k I want with it. I hate record companies. I sure would like to ask if Tristan wanted this crap on her cd.

I have been turned on tomany a talented artistwho were merely the warm up band for the group I came to see.Tristan is a perfect example. Saw her warm up in Chicago for SS and GLaSS last fall. I am just interested to see how she fills the time as a concert headliner. I mean her 2 cd together don't fill an hours worth of time. So I am guessing a lot of unreleased and new stuff too! She packed 11 songs into 50 minutes in Indy in September. Her crowd interaction b/w songs is great. If she plays her whole repetoire, and talks with the crowd, she can probably stretch it toan hour and a half.


And I admit that I am embarrassingly a fan. It really is her talent, tho. I just think she has tremendous singer/songwriting talent and is under-rated and under-promoted.She will rise above--I just know it.

yeah her concerts are pretty cool. after all of her later songs she would look back and check how much time she had and she packed every song that she could in. very humble. i was suprised. she was all alone and talking to the crowd and just doin her thing. i turned into a fan that night also.


after words i was last in line to get autographs and my gf and i talked to her about the g. love tour (she was w/jason) for a good 5 min. it was like a whole conversation. pretty cool.

Excuse me if I am missing something, but it would appear thatabout a week's worth of TP discussion (and ben taylor) was nuked. Again, maybe my search within the forum is faulty. But am I missing something? I am all for keeping a forum free of graphic language or pix, but devoted fans discussing the merits of attending various upcoming shows of artists who are in need of exposure is now considered taboo? Sorry, guys and gals in charge, but for that decision you earn a ragmop "WTF?!"

so how was the show? MN was wonderful! It was so great to see her as an opener. She played a really good mix of songs of the love ep and 23. She was still feeling a little under the weather, but on her way to recovery. The addition of Jen Lowe was perfect! I am just always suprised by how nicetristan is.... seriously the nicest person ever.


And I thought ben taylor and his band were amazing. They had such energy and looked like they were having such a good time... and it doesn't hurt for a single girl like me to get to look at ben taylor for a few hours smileys/smiley2.gif

okay, i simply LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that woman. Just got back from Chicago show. Man . . . .


Schubas in Chicago is unbelievable. Quiet, intimate bar, not club--about 250 max capacity. Gig was literally in back room. No stage exits. the bands have to walk thru crowd to get to the stage.


TP was coming off a cold, butsounded great. 11 songs. One hour show.


Joe--she fecking remembered us! How sweet is that. She and I were canoodling afterward, smileys/smiley2.gifand she was referencing how sick she was at the Bloomington show. I mentioned that I had wanted to see her there, but settled on the Chitown show, and had given up the tix. She asked "oh, were those your tix on the message board?! That was so sweet of you". Yeah, slice of heaven, y'all. Mr. Cleanface = Ragmop's wingman!!


Ben Taylor. . . um.. . needs some time. Half the crowd left after TP. Best song Ben covered was when he invited Jen Lowe up for bongos. BTW, if TP ain't careful Jen Lowe just might steal this boy's heart. Seriously, though, Jen and TP were great duo. Played off each other well. I am really wanting to drive to the ames show tomorrow, but i cna't find anyone to go with me. It wouldn't be bad, but I think i would try to drive home after the show. Probably won't happen. I am just going through my usual post-concert blues. Ben's bongo song with jen was very good, I do like ben's new cd so it was a treat to see hime. I was trying to figure out if it was tp or jen that has the massive crush on ben, I mean I don't blame them....

ben04, i would be there with you if i could. i am not knocking ben. he seems extremely laid back. would like to meet him. they completely bolted after show though. but i just wasn't digging his selection or style. a little too "busy" with drums, bass, lead, and sometimes 2 rhythm guitars. reminded me a little of fleetwood mac back in the day--only not as good. (sorry).


jen saved the day on that "beautiful" song. best damn tune ben did all night.
