"...Tom Morello, Boots Riley and Stanton Moore Form Street Sweeper Social Club

Tom Morello has produced the debut self-titled recording of his new project, Street Sweeper Social Club, which is set for a June 16 release through Warner Music Group's Independent Label Group. Morello plays both guitar and bass on the disc, on which Boots Riley adds vocals and Galactic drummer Stanton Moore appears on drums. "It's revolutionary party jams," Morello explains in a statement. "It's got huge steamroller riffs combined with depth, charge, funk, while Boots unloads clip after clip of incendiary rhymes rich with satire and venom." Street Sweeper Social Club will open the forthcoming Nine Inch Nails/Jane's Addiction tour, however Moore is not slated to join Morello and Riley as he has confirmed gigs with Galactic....."

I saw them open for Jane's/NIN and they were fantastic. Havent heard the album but I really liked them at the show.

Reminded me a lot of RageATM, which isn't surprising as Morello is playing guitar. However, they reminded of them in a good way which not many people have been able to do. Most RATM imitators have just been bad.
