Last night I attended the G Love and Special Sauce show at the Marquee Theater in Arizona. I've been a fan forever and this was my first timeseeing the bandin concert. It was alast minute decision by me and a few friends to go, and they put on a great show.
Some of the guys we were with had never even heard of the band but we assured them that they would have a good time. At the end of the night, we all had a lot of fun and started to head home. Unfortunately, one of these guys, Mark, was hit by a car on his way across the street. Now he is in very critical condition at a local hospital.
I'm posting here to ask if everyone can send some good thoughts to Mark and his family in hopes for a speedy recovery. They really need all the love and support they can getduring this trying time.
Thanks for taking the time to read.

I saw Mark on the side of the road. It messed me up pretty bad. I have not stopped thinking of him since Saturday. Would it be kosher to post his name and hospital? At least keep us updated.
I hope your friend gets pulls through.

Thank you all so much for your love and support. Here's a bit of an update based on info I've gathered froma coupleof his good friends.
He went in with broken ribs, a broken leg and a pretty messed up arm, in addition to head injuries, road rash, a broken nose plus more. He's still unconscious but heis responding to pain, twitching, and showing some movement. His internal organs are fine, bruised lungs, and he has some swelling in his head. He's still in ICU, but seems to be doing better than when he first came in.
As I know more I will continue to post. It will probably be a long and painful recovery but I know his family and friends appreciate all the support and prayers.
Thanks again!!

Thank you all for your support. Mark is a good friend of mine and his family is doing well. Mark is strong and I am sure he will pull through this. He is showing signs of movement and his senses seem to be coming back. His family is a little overwhelmed right now so we have not released his location yet. Things are still very critical right now, but when he improves we will let you know. Thanks again for your prayers and thoughts

My bro. went through a similar trauma--I know how trying it can be. My brother went from being in a coma to following commands (thumb up, wiggling toes)to talking to finally walking. The best thing to do is to pray and have as many pple. you can pray and think loving thoughts because it helped my brother--he is better than ever today! So it will happen. Just be patient, and remember that every little movement or word is a victory!
Also, if you can read him cards or have friends/family say hi on a recording, this too will help his spirits. He will come through this! Love to you.

Thanks for reminding me - I've been meaning to do this. Well, since the last post Mark has woken up and from what I hear he is looking forward to getting the heck out of the hospital. He is out of ICU but still has lots of recovery to go through. I'm sure your thoughts and prayers have helped him and his family/friends through this. I'm going to make sure he gets a copy of every post!
Thanks again for all the support!!
