Nah, "the best of", i believe, is a slap in the face delivered by Sony to G. love & special sauce and theirfans. Go for the self titled, or philadelphonic. Considering that his new album (and tunes) will most likely relate to those two, i think those are your best bet.

Definitely Philadelphonic - and be sure to fast forward after song 14 there is a hidden track. Amazing! That CD is all encompassing and full of jams!
Also, recently heard from a friend that G-Love may be performing at next year's 10,000 Lakes Festival. I work at a law firm and one of our clients owns the festival and told me today that he recently received a letter inquiring about G-Love joing the festival. Something to look forward to next year!

Dam UCL, you got the exact time of when that track kicks in. You are good. I usually just sit in silence with the volume jacked up so that it scares the piss out of me when it starts.

I got to hear the new stuff because my fiance is affiliated with G.L.A.S.S.
I got to hear thetracks that were produced by Mario C. When I heard it it really reminded me of the early G.L.A.S.S. days (which were great days for me!!) but it's also very timely sounding as well. You can dance to it, or just chill and do work with it playing in the background. Great for parties. The whole deal. I'm psyched for them...I think this will be " the one". The first single "Astronaut" i heard got played on the radio in Philly last week. I hope it was well received. It totally rocks. Not sure of the radio station it got played on, but if you're in philly and you know, definately request that sh*t!!!
((peace))
