Tortoise is very cool, it takes a little while to get into their vibe, but it really grows on you after a while. A couple of guys in that band have a side project called 5style. 5style is really funky, kind of like old Meters, you should check them out

Yeahhh, I just recently picked up "It's all around you." I'm still kind of getting used to it, but it sounds pretty good.
