Yeah I second that, Where the hell is Jasper and what is he doing? I see the J and P Suns CD on EBay every now and then. They should be a part of everyone's collection.I found an old CDr the other day I wrote on it "G.Love - Live at Mullins" I'm not sure what it is or why I wrote that on it. I listened to it and it deffinetely sounds like Hobbs from J and P Suns playing Sax, but I'm not sure, any insight?? There are no vocals and parts of it sounds like improvisational Jazz. Check out Hobbs band The Fully Celebrated Orchestra (http://www.xape.net/fco/)

Well, good ol' Jasper lives down here in ATL. He usually comes out and rhymes on "Parasite" and "This Ain't Livin" whenever the boys are in town which is an absolute treat for all of us who live here. I highly recommend some of you coming down here just to catch G and Jasper in action.http://www.philadelphonic.com/forum/smileys/smiley32.gif

I think I found that CD on Second Spin as well, but it was definatly hard to find. It is a great disc with some sweet steel drums in parts of tunes.

I wonder if a B+P or trading type gig would be morally wrong or not? Let me know your guy's ideas and I'll think about it!

Jasper and The Prodigal Sons actually had 2 releases. One was an EP called 'People Get Ready' and then there was the full length release called 'Everything is Everything'. The full length is currently available at www.secondspin.com (http://www.secondspin.com)for only 99 cents plus shipping so I would guess that a b+p on that wouldn't be too cool. And I found a listing for the EP at www.gemm.com (http://www.gemm.com)for $7.99. I highly recommend both of these records. I had the opportunity to see jasper's band open for G. Love here in Buffalo, NY at a small club and it's a real shame they only put out one release. There was talk at one time about Jasper working on a record for release through Philadelphonic but that never panned out. If anyone has any other info, it'd be greatly appreciated.

Since peope can still buy them there is no way I will offer a B+P. But I do suggest people pick it up and add it to their collection. Also, do some seaching and find the Princes of Babylon CD. It's another group G worked with (see Yeah, It's That Easy) and their disc is just as good!
