I would hope they made a video for astronaut! Getting some airplay MTV would defiantly help them out.I would to see a cameo ofJames Doohan! But I don't think they ussaly do a video for their singles. The only video that I have seen was cold beverages, and that was not even on MTV.

Why say no to mtv?? It would better watching GLASS than the latest Brittany Spears or Usher video, wouldn't? I understand we all want GLASS to have the least amount of exposure, so they can still stay as our band. That is one of the major reason I have enjoyed them all these years. They have been a very accessible band!! Pretty damn cool people as well!!! But I think they have paid their dues and deserve some good old rock star fame!!! That just my 2 cents

Z: So how would you define success?
G: I’d like to just make a great record that people want to hear. I already made one classic record and that’s in a lot of people’s collections. I’d like to do again, just really hit it home. The thing that you want to do is to make some sh*t that people want to hear.

G,
If you see this, you should definitely do a video, if you have not already. I would recommend a full color animation. Something funky, like shardrack by the beasties or along those lines. just an idea.

My reason for not wanting a video--- Mainstream corporate bullsh*t. I like GLaSS for the fact that not alot of people know about them. I love turning my friends and people that I meet onto them. I dont want to turn on MTV and watch TRL and have Carson Daly with 50 screaming high school girls. Sorry but I want to keep them just to myself and you guys. Thats just how I feel. You are def. entitled to your opinion and I respect that. Small venues, the forum, the personal connection with friends I have here, the live shows that we have acsess to. You put them on MTV, and i think you can kiss those things goodbye. I dont want to them perform at a venue with 20,000 people. I want up close and personal. I dont want 6,000 forum members. I like what we have. Call me selfish or whatever you wish. But sometimes I just want to keep them to myself and you guys. Dont get me wrong, I want them to make as much $$ as posible, but I want them to do it for us, Not mainstream corporate america. Anyway that is how I feel about that. I know I'm sure to get a few responses out of that one. Remember that is my opinion and I'm entitled to it. Anyway peace all I'm gone PERRY.Edited by: PERRY

Your right Aaron that they deserve more, maybe not rock star status but more recognition and fame. I hate the term "rock star" It sounds like bon jovi or something. It would be nice if they got more, but maybe they are just happy being who they are, and were they are at right now. GLaSS is definately going to grow more as the years go on,both musically and notariaty wise. Just want them to do it for the right reasons. Take the old lable for example. I'm pretty sure that they wanted the boys to do things that they did not want to do. Now they are on JJ's lable and can do whatever the hell they want cause there is not a bunch of yuppie scum telling them how to make music or who they want the tunes to be the taget of their audience. Man my f**king fingers hurt fromtyping. I'm goona get outa here for a while, YA right. peace PERRY

I'm not sure if they are happy where they are, from the interviews I have read over the years. It sound like the where frustrated that they never got attention some of the other bands around them received.Bands like DMB,Blues travelers, Rusted Rootwere all emerging about the same time GLASS did.I could be completely wrong.
I defiantly think this is a great direction GLASS is heading. Working with Jack Johnson’s Label Brushfire is an awesome idea. I wonder if they record songs then go surfing. How rad would that be!! PERRY do you know were they recorded the new album?

Not quite sure where it was recorded. JJ studio is in Hawaii I think. I'm sure GLaSS has a studio in Philly though. I'd say one if not both of those places. peace PERRY
