I've been wondering all summer long what is your fav doors cd?

I recently just heard this entire cd for the first time and it has deeply affected me. I know I'm very behind the times. Ah, well.

My favorite song is "My eyes have seen you" and I think the most romantic thing that JM ever moaned is "Eyes have seen you let them photograph your soul memorize your alleys on and endless roll"

Anyway, I just thought I'd share this inspiring tale JM influenced me to write, you know just for the hell of it.If I were smarter I'd attach a music file. Ah, well. Does anybody remember in the good old days before there was radio and records when people just had sheet music to learn and know and to share American Roots music?

The Scream Of The Butterfly

He said, Sister, I want to hear the scream of the butterfly. Come today, Come today she cried. Music is my only friend until the end watch me dance on fire as it intends. There's my man outside alive with a warm andgentle sun feasting on the big suprise the scream of the butterfly. Will she close her eyes to the world? Will she shut her eyes on the world? The choice is not only hers. Withyour ear to the ground you'll hear that gentle sound near, far, soft, and clear. The scream of the butterfly. She wants the world and we want her now. Scream butterfly gentle as when the music is over and you turn out the lights. Will she close her eyes to the world? Will she shut her eyes on the world? The choice is not only hers. He said, Sister, I want to hear the scream of the butterfly. Come today, come today she cried.

Moving.... Jim always does the same thing to me my friend. My fav. doors album has to be morrison hotel. The spy is a great song.Have you ever listened to An American Prayer?? It is a wonderful thing for your lobes if you love jims words. His poetry set to the doors jamming in the backround, there is alot of inspiration to be found there.
